Day 301: What Will You Do Now?
Time is the strangest part of life don't you think? Each day that passes can feel like an eternity, but when we look back all of them blur together and create a past that slips further and further away. Time is a part of life none of us want to deal with, but all have to come to terms with sooner or later. Either way we will face the end at some point and we must look back and decide if our time was well spent.
I'm not sure about you, but I want to do what I can in my life. I do not want to spend my days wasting time over things that do not interest me, drain my spirit, or are of no interest to me. Surely you can relate and say you are the same, whether or not you spend your time truly avoiding those things is another story altogether.
We can all want to spend our time wisely, it's a noble calling that will have us all dreaming about the things we could be doing. But how many of us actually do the things we dream of doing? How many of us can say that each day of our life contains some element of wonder that so captures our attention that we no longer think of the concept know as passing time? Not many of us would be able to say they truly don't waste their time and only fill it with things of the upmost importance to us.
Time is passing. There is no way to slow it dow, so what are you doing? Right now, right here, what are you doing with your life and the time you have been given? Take an honest look at your life and decide whether or not you are going to regret your life when you get to the end of it.
We bare the burden of having to live not only with ourselves the the things we have done, but the things we have not done as well. Those regrets can be made of the most haunting qualities, lingering there at the back of your mind and hovering at your very finger tips. Regret tears at your soul and eats away at your heart, do not allow it to destroy yours.
Live your life the way you truly want to live it. Time is passing right here right now, and you won't be able to get back the second you wasted. So the question is, what will you do now?
Until Next Time,
