Day 264: Finding Beauty In Aesthetics

There is something so magical about an aesthetic. The aesthetic in which one views their life through. I believe everyone has one, in some form or fashion. Whether they believe it or not. An aesthetic is concerned or in appreciated of beauty. And all of us, in one way or another, find life to be just a little bit beautiful.

Whatever your aesthetic looks like, or even if you're not quite sure what exactly makes life beautiful for you, it truly points to where you see the magic of life. Because, there is truly magic in the world if you are looking for it. Never forget the power of your eyes when they are searching for something beautiful, especially in a world that can appear so dark.

There is so much beauty to be found in the world and it will be different for everyone. Someone might prefer the gleaming surface of a skyscraper over a horizon filled with wind swept fields. There is nothing saying that one thing is not beautiful just because someone does not prefer it compared to some things.

An aesthetic is often how we determine the beautiful moments in life. For me, I would always choose a brilliant sunset on the edge of the ocean over a sunny day playing on the beach. Meanwhile someone might find the aesthetic of a dessert more appealing than snow coated mountains. We all view life differently and therefore, we all see beauty in a different way.

The only thing that truly matters is being able to recognize the beauty in life. Those moments that seem to be magical are often a breath of fresh air during a sometimes boring day. Walking outside and seeing the thick grey clouds could be a relief from a day of inconsequential tasks because it was filled with beauty. Remember that during the hard, boring, sad, or inconsequential moments as well as the joyful ones. There is magic everywhere and all you have to do is look for the beauty in a way that fits your aesthetic.

Until Next Time,
