Day 276: Truly Living

Over the last couple of days, I have not been posting my blog posts. Which means I am currently a few days behind and that's okay. I should be on Day 181 today, but there are times in life when even your biggest commitments must be set aside. Nothing in life should interfere with your ability to truly live.

Life is not about how much you can accomplish in the years you are given. It is about living to the best of ability every single day. Sometimes that means putting aside your responsibilities and really just focusing on what's going on right in front of you. When was the last time you took the time to be present?

Every day that passes by will be gone forever. There is nothing we can do to gain more time. The harsh reality of life is that one day it will end and we must do everything in our power to be prepared for that day. It could come at any second and if that is truly the case, would you be ready?

There are often things in our lives that we desire to do before we die. However, we often put those things off. And yet they are the most important things. Living, traveling, talking to loved ones, doing things we've always dreamed of doing. Those are the things we must do in order to live without any regrets.

If you were to die tomorrow, could you really say that you've lived your life fully? Even if it means putting aside some of your responsibilities, the reward is a life lived without any regrets.

Until Next Time,
Lillian Merritt
