Day 229: Happy Mother's Day

Today is a very special holiday, maybe one of the most special holidays out there, because it celebrates the backbone of society, the nurturing touch of love, and hearts made of out gold. This holiday is all about celebrating not only our own mothers, but all of the mothers out there. Happy Mother's Day!

In this brief blog post, I want to express my gratitude to my own mother. She's an incredible lady who has supported me 100% with whatever I have set my heart on. We've had our rough moments, but all in all she is by far one of the most important people in my life. She's strong, compassionate, loving, hilarious, and practically Wonder Woman. Without her, I wouldn't be the person I am today and so I want to tell her thank you.

And I want to reach out to any mother reading this blog post besides my own. You are amazing. Everything you do is so important in the lives of those under your wings, you've been given the most amazing possibility there is, bring life into this world and raising them to be incredible people. You're truly wonderful and I want to say thank you. Because you're here raising little one or watching your not so little ones raise there own, you've made an impact on the world. And not just on the world, but on the world of the little ones who can call you mommy.

Happy Mother's Day!

Until Next Time,
Lillian Merritt
