Day 91: All About the Classics
It's Christmas Eve! How can that be? It seems incredibly impossible, however, here it is and tomorrow is Christmas Day. No matter how you're feeling about this season, whether it feels like Christmas or not, one of my favorite ways to prepare for the Holidays is by watching all the classic seasonal movies.
For as long as I can remember, my family has always used movies as a way to get in the spirit of Christmas. One of the earliest movies I can remember watching is in fact White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. Every year when we decorate the tree we put on the classics and sip hot chocolate while putting on all the ornaments.
Movies can be a wonderful way to get into the spirit, especially when it doesn't feel like it is Christmas. While there are surpluses of Christmas movies to choose from, for me classics are the way to go. Some of the newer ones are very good, however, there is something so magical about the way the classics feel that make it seem even more like Christmas.
Below are a few of my all time favorite Christmas movies, most of them are classics yet I threw in a few of my favorite newer ones. What are you favorite Christmas movies?

It is that time of year again and nothing could be more welcoming than a cozy room with a raging fire, a cup of hot chocolate, and your favorite Christmas movie. That may indeed be the perfect recipe for getting into the seasons spirit. Christmas movies have a way of warming even the coldest heart in a way nothing else can. They show how perfect the season can be if we only open our eyes to the wonder all around us.
