Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is right around the corner. Now is the perfect time to get in the Christmas spirit with a burst of seasonal music, even though every radio station in existence has been blasting it since October. Whether it be a classic or a new addition, Christmas music has a way of lifting your spirit and adding to the magic of the season.

Every year without fail Christmas comes back around, a season of joy and giving. The neighborhoods are illuminated with strands of lights and Christmas trees can be seen through the windows. Temperatures drop and it’s the perfect time to snuggle up under a fluffy blanket with a mug of hot chocolate.

‘Tis the season to turn on the radio and get into the Christmas spirit with all the holiday hits from throughout the years. They embody the feelings of the season and bring memories of past Christmas’s to the mind. Music allows us to hear the sounds of the most wonderful time of the year.

Below I have listed a few of my favorite Christmas songs, although there are many many more I enjoy during this time of year. What are your favorite songs of the season? Let me know in the comments below.

White Christmas - Bing Crosby

I'll Be Home For Christmas - Frank Sinatra

Holly Jolly Christmas - Michael Bublé

December - Charles Billingsley

O, Holy Night - Charles Billingsley

All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

Mary, Did You Know? - Danny Gokey

Christmas/Sarajevo 12/24 - Instrumental - Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Carol of the Bells - George Winston

Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - Darlene Love

Peace On Earth/ Little Drummer Boy - Bing Crosby and David Bowie

Until Next Time,
Lillian Merritt
