Day 84: Planning Ahead
Life can get incredibly busy, especially during this time of the year. Christmas is right around the corner, parties happen back to back, there are events and occasions to go to and trips to go on. During such periods of time, it can be important to work ahead in order to alleviate some stress.
For me the holidays are looking to be a bit of a crazy occasion, beginning as early as tomorrow. Because of this, I realized early on that I would need to work ahead with my 366 blog post challenge in order to stay on top of it. Being able to work ahead and schedule blog post will turn out to be a life saver in the days to come.
Are there periods in your life when planning ahead and working ahead would have been greatly appreciated? Sometimes we need to turn our eyes to the future if only to see how we can lighten the load for your future self. Trust me you will thank yourself later.
Working ahead is not always the easiest thing in the world to do, especially since most of our days are filled with activities all the time. Carving out time to work ahead on different projects or goals can be a difficult thing to do. However, in the long run it can really save a lot of time and remove an unnecessary amount of stress from your life.
Is there an event coming up, whether that be a trip or just a much needed rest? You may want to plan ahead and work on accomplishing your tasks before hand so when that busy period comes around you will be better prepared to relax as much as you can.
When you are able to take one little thing off your plate, it makes all the difference in the long run. Always be sure to look ahead and see what you can accomplish now in order to make your future load a little bit lighter.
Until Next Time,
Lillian Merritt
