Halfway To 52
When I embarked on this 52 week project I wasn't exactly certain what would happen. Both in 2016 and in 2017 I decided to create an image every week for a year, but within the first quarter I fell behind and eventually stopped. When I joined a group on Facebook that was doing a 52 week project I didn't know if I would be able to commit entirely to the challenge. Saying I want to do something is always the easiest part, the area that I struggle with is staying focused. But here I am, surpassing the half way point. Each image pushes my boundaries and makes me stretch for a better result. I've dealt with set backs and accomplishing more than expected. I've taken risks and challenged myself. I've jumped into freezing cold oceans and have completed a photoshoot in 7 minutes. There have been multiple instances when I had no idea if what I was doing would succeed. There was the element of having to share it even if I considered the image to be a failure, due to the deadlines. Images have turned out worse than I pictured and some have come out better than I ever could have imagined. I've experimented and developed as a photographer, my audience has grown, and I have enjoyed every second of it.Here are all the images so far and below is the visual representation of the jounrey I have taken this year. 1/51Theme: Lightbulb2/52Theme: Memories
